Note: If you see fit, you may move, lock, or delete this.

I have a pet goose, it can't fly, we don't know why... (Hey, that rhymes!) We've had it since it was very young, and now it is very comfortable around us. If we tried to let it go, I don't think it would go anywhere, so we've never tried. And, since it can't fly, and there are many foxes in this area, so I don't think we could let it go. You see, when it was little, it was pidgeon-toed (toes point inward) and it was all alone on a beach in my neighborhood.

I want to know the natural behavior of wild geese.

Behavior of my Goose:

- It eats grass all day, but when we eat dinner, it eats cucumber, salad, and, get this: it eats beef, turkey, chicken, and other meats. (We always joke about this.)

- It is very friendly, and will sometimes eat out of your hand.

- It has lived with us all its life, and the most it has flown has been with a running start: six feet in the air.

In this topic, you can talk about natural behavior of wild geese and geese in general, I guess. Also, if you have any questions for me about geese, go ahead and ask. I will probably
know the answer. Very Happy

How sweet Rhea =3
Your goose seems very sweet, I am sure he's very happy with you ^^
Also, is his wings clipped? Because, at a certain age, so that they can't fly away, they're end feathers have to be clipped.

No, his wings aren't clipped, I guess that's a bit strange. I don't think it would be able to fly because it never learned. I don't know.

Well, I would think that is the reason Rhea ^^ If the bird never knew how to fly, how could he :3
